…and just like that, the clouds parted, and the sun came out. Whether it was the dreary weather that had affected her so or the absence of the ones she loved, she could never be fully certain. Perhaps it was the combination of it all that had left her feeling dark and somber. All she knew was that day, she learned that how others saw her was everything she’d hoped they’d see. That day, she felt his arms around her again after what seemed like ages apart, and she knew that soon, her children would be back with her where they belonged. That day, the pieces that were most important to her fell together as they hadn’t in a long time, and she remembered the significance she had so desperately searched and longed for was a defining part of who she was. That day, once again, the sun came out from behind the clouds to shine down on her and from within her.
